Petition to return the "Royal" title to the Air Force and Navy

Just thought you should be aware of the online Petition (see below) calling for the reinstatement of the term "ROYAL" to the Canadian Navy (Maritime Command) and Canadian Air Force (Air Command).

Laurie Hawn (MP Edmonton Centre) has agreed to present the petition to the Parliament of Canada.

Adopting this petition would allow the ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY (RCN) and the ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE (RCAF) to live again (and by extension theCANADIAN ARMY as well).

Often wondered what the final cost to the Canadian taxpayers was for that whole unification concept. Maybe we are still paying for it.

Add it on to the Liberal Party's bill. :rolleyes
