Mortor Ammo Box?
4 Attachment(s)
This ammo box came with some other stuff a while back, curious as to what it was for. The box is unmarked, contains 2 x 3 carriers marked No. 11, 1944. I am assuming they are for mortar rounds, if so what size? I have seen a similar box before, but never the carriers.
As usual any information would be gratefully received. Rich |
they are for the 3" Mortar
|
Nice
Good to see it has the parts usually turfed!
I have a few of these boxes but they're empty alas! |
Thank you Tony and Keith.
Starting to regret selling those Mortor legs at Corowa a few years back. Rich |
Richard, is there a number and date stamped into the base of the box?
|
Yup, never thought to look on the base. Has "B162" over "1" stamped large. no date.
