Track adjusting cam tool from MWM

1 Attachment(s)
While at the MVPA convention on the weekend, I picked up one of the cast track adjusting cam tools from John Bizal at Midwest Military. A few other carrier owners thought that the one John was offering was slightly different from what they had seen around before. I recall that on my first carrier, the cam that I had found would spin past it's maximum before fully drawing the track adjuster all the way out.

After a long drive home, the first thing I tried this morning was the adjusting tool on my carrier. Worked like a charm, and got full adjustment out of the bracket. I must say I am very happy with this tool.

Yes I too was pleased with the one I bought from him. Very well done. What kind of rod did you use? I have yet to see one that doesn't bend when using this tool.

I used a tire iron just to try it. The bar from the Gray brand 3/4 drive socket set comes pretty close. I will shave a bit off the last inch or two on my lathe and give it a try. The bar for a budd wheel wrench should also come pretty close.
