I'm extremely interested in a restoration project for any type of landing craft used in ww2.
Would anybody know where to start and/or any other restoration projects and/or who might have such craft for sale?

Take a look at this web site if you have not already done so, http://www.lstmemorial.org/Progress.htm from being on board this LST and talking with the people involved finding a full set of serviceable landing craft is some thing they are also working on.
