hi.
its my carrier, i have been haveing so many calls from people wanting to purchas a carrier i decided to list one that i have in parts. its 90% there with only the 3 large flat armor pices missing. nearly everything else is there in parts or for patterns just needing to be rebuild.

thanks

potentially a fairly easy resto there hull has all the right bits, the center bulkhead is still complete and the front armour is there.... the other bits of armour i found are quite easy to do.

good luck with the sale buddy.

MY GOD WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE???

just had a person contact me and wanted to know if i would take 500.00 for the carrier. told me he saw them all over the place only 10 years ago for that price.

had another wanted a fully restored ready to use and show vehicle (must run, must be 100% present), and he could spend up to 6,000.00 but i would have to ship it 1200 miles.

another wanted just the front armor for 100.00

i hate E-bay

Dave:
If you are parting it out, I'll give you $50 for the tracks, but they must be delivered to the Canadian border at Dunseith ND. Now you may quibble at that price now, but that is in Cdn $. I have no doubt that our dollar will soon be worth considerably more than the US peso in the future.

LOL
so you were the guy that called me :fry:

any way it looks like the carrier may be going to the east coast, i keep finding parts for it in the shed so it will be a easy rebuild. many of the parts were already taken apart and sand blasted and painted.

from some of the e-mails it seems that people are out hunting for crazy deals and not seeing that armor is going through the roof in price.

for what it's worth i thought your asking price was very reasonable and if i hadn't already bought my carrier a few months back from midwest military i would have jumped at yours.

good luck with the sale

no problem.
i was kind of testing the waters and clearing my consious too. i have had about 10 people call and ask if i knew where a carrier was. i didnt even think of the one out at the farm. but after putting it up and seeing some of the people wanting nearly a rebuilt carrier for the 2-4000.00 price range i feel good again. if everything goes right it will be going to a member in NC here in the US. if not it will stay out at the battlefield as a static display till i can spend some time with her.
