Can anyone Identify this vehicle?
I found this photo while putting together a remembrance day album for my son.
My father is pictured here on the right wearing the beret. Can anyone tell me what vehicle this is? Pedro http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...rophoto011.jpg |
M37 Family
Interesting photo. Where was it taken?

No Mr Hup
There is a big difference between the WC Dodges, and the M37.
The War time Dodges were pretty, the M37's were pretty ugly! :D :DThe design team did well under pressure during the war, but postwar it sucked by comparison. They must have lost the good guys to Ford or GM. As far as asthetics goes its hard to beat a Dodge command car! |
Hi. it is absolutly not a WC 52, but a Canadian Dodge APT 3/4 ton. The cargo bed is smaller then the WC 52 and you just can see the gap in the hood for the deep water fording kit.

Is U.S. produced Dodge T223 WC62 and WC63 (with and without winch) 1 1/2 ton.

I think they just made the APT in 45. Air portable weapons carrier. I had one once but had it stolen. still is a sore spot. much better looking than the M37 but I like those too.
Ive got a data plate for one if anyone needs one. |
Steve - still have that data plate..?

Hi Charles
No sorry I traded the two plates I had to a fellow in Edmonton for a Jeep winter hood blanket a couple of years ago. :no4: Do you know of anyone that has a container in the UK I might get in on that they are filling to ship parts home. I would like some bigger bits for my RB44 but the shipping will kill me. If my wife doesn't first. Thanks |
