Tiny Tim generator?
 

I have dug this out of my workshop. I bought it to go in my Stuart M5A1 but in the event rebuilt the original unit. Is this what they call the Tiny Tim or was that a British equivalent? If not does anyone know what its actually referred to as?

That is a Delco unit I think, probably for a Stuart. Some British tanks also used a Delco but it was a little different to yours though very similar.

The Tiny Tim was a different unit again and was a standard fit for most later British tanks.

Thanks Adrian. it was bought from Chris Wilkinson to fit my Stuart, so he would have sold me the correct item I know. I was just not sure whether it was called a Tiny Tim, and you have answered that one. thx A
