just had a chuckle to myself. I guess webbing means a different thing over there... webbing in the UK is what the soldier wears ie chest rig, 95 pattern webbing etc etc.

The netting looks great the WW2 stuff can be reproduced very easily if you have the time...IMHO it looks better than the modern stuff :)

well we never ever refered to it as that. it was simply "Grab your webbing lads" or "Right we are on the range today and the RCO wants skeleton rig only please........" :cheers:

In modern army jargon it is referred to now as 'Belt Kit' albeit that has probably been used before. Skeleton Order is still used as well

Combat Equipment Marching Order hehehehhehe gee its all coming back to me now... when we used to get the cadets up on the range we would not let them on with beltkit, and when we did it was always skeleton rig only.... makes it easier for them during loading drills and easier for us to frisk them down at the end for rounds (keep sakes) that most always try to smuggle a couple 5.56 from the range as trophies dispite the warnings we give regarding offences etc etc. good times !

Aidan can you ask Big Mike if he made the net or bought it as is ?
