9th Field Ambulance

My dad was in the 9th Field Ambulance Medical Corp (along with 4 other regiments during WW2) but I can't seem to find any information pertaining to this regiment anywhere.

I know he was in England, Belgium, Italy, Germany and France but like so many other veterans, he NEVER talked about the war.

I want so much to collect as much information as I can before I move on to join him (where ever he is) so I can pass it on to my children so they know exactly what he sacrificed for their freedom.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find out something, anything, about it?

Thanks

G.O. 401/1945 = Canadian Army General Order Number 401 of 1945.
