Winter Show
For the benefit of those of us (me included) who haven't yet marked our calendars to ensure we get there, can you publish the date for the annual Acton event? History suggests mid-late Feb but I would like confirmation. Thank you.

What is the address for the Acton winter meet for those of us that have not been there before?
|
OMVA winter meet location
Yes it was a bit of an oversight not to have the address listed. It is to be held Saturday February 19 at the Acton Legion at 15 Wright Street which runs north off of Mill Street West just west of Highway 25 in Acton, Ontario.
If you are coming north on Hwy 25 (from exit 320 on Hwy 401) then Mill Street is the first set of lights in Acton. Turn left and goes a few blocks to Wright St. 8AM to about 1PM, but most of the action happens 9AM to Noon. ........ Brian |
Thanks for the information.

Well, here's one disgruntled MLUer.
Highways leading out of my city were closed due to blowing snow/no visibility. I hope some people made it. |
Jon, I made it to the show and I even remembered to bring that box of stuff for you. Here's to next time.

Someone was raiding carriers while the show was a distraction
On the way home from the show I saw a carrier (project) being trailered westbound on the 401 between Cobourg and Port Hope. Some of the usual suspects can be ruled out. Unless by proxy, it wasn't Jordan - he had a car at the show and not enough time from when I saw him at the show and when I saw the carrie. Not Bob Carriere, it wasn't his truck. Not me. Not Rob Clarke, unless he has more prime movers than I know of. It was already west of Barry Churcher's retirement home for old military hardware (and going further west....)
No photos, I was driving solo, |
