G'day Mike,
Are we able to use this photo in the Gippsland Historical Automobile Club Inc. newsletter? It is quite a good photo from post 1954. Any idea where it was taken in Tas? thanks Rick. |

I have a larger, clearer version of that photo , more suitable for printing.. I will email it to you . Not sure of your email ? It was taken at Cygnet during the apple festival. I know that area well, I lived there in the mid 1970's , I was a student at a Hobart college and we had a early 50's Anglia car. Cygnet is South of Hobart , in the Huon Valley district, apple orchards galore, before the industry went bust due to the European common market thing , the Brits ditched us for European sourced fruit. Did you spot the 39/40 Ford utility ? |
Thanks Mike, PM sent with email address.
