1 Attachment(s) Interesting how they have draped the Italian flag over the bonnet for aircraft recognition. The Long Range Desert Group had a round paddle with the RAF roundals on one side and the Axis symbol on the other. A quick flip when the nationality of the plane was apparent was all that was needed. It didn't always work though. I still have to make one for my Long Range Patrol Group vehicle, but I haven't found out which Axis sign was in use in 1940/41. Any clues out there? Regards Rick |
