Hi, Got some pics of the carrier track currently on milweb, is this swiss T16~?, has someone just cut the heads off the pins ready to hammer out?, or is this another form of track pin?.

looks pretty seized and corroded.

Is it australian? They had a different method on pin retention, doesn't look like UC type from the pins. t16 track has the same pins as UC according to the wartime parts book I have here.
Just looked at the mil web add and the guy is also selling an LP2 recovered from Tahiti, so I guess he imported this track along with it.

Hi, I would say you were correct, dug out this pic of an aussi carrier.

That certainly looks like Aust track. We used a lead plug to retain the pin. Very simple design.

In that case the guide horns are further apart than British/Canadian track, right?

That is correct. Would also work on a Vickers Mk6 light tank.
