Old couple
 

Over the years I have meet many people / vets with my carrier, But last weekend I meet two very special people.
Whilst attending a local show. I was approached by a very elderly couple (both about 90).
They were so pleased to see a carrier and went on to tell me there story.

During the war they both worked at a garage which repaired carriers. He worked in the front doing electrics and she worked in the back (being small) worked on the engines.
He asked this little girl working in the back out, courted her and then they were married and still are.
( He said "we got up to all sorts of things in the back of the carriers under a canvas", but he'd leave it to my imagination. Much to her blushe's)

It's great when your vehicle connects with those involved all those years ago... and their stories are so important. Sounds like they got a real kick out of seeing your carrier too. :thup2:

"If the Carriers rockin' dont come-a-knockin"
