Military vehicle & re-enactor gathering Geelong 30 Oct 11
 

The Vic Military Vehicle Corp (VMVC) & the Geelong Military Re-enactment Group (GMRG) are meeting on the Sunday 30 Oct 11 between 1100 to 1500, at Mawson Motors- 19 Grand View Parade. Moolap, Geelong.
Vehicles from Melbourne can meet me at the McDonalds at the Point Cook/Laverton Fwy area (Point Cook Rd) and we will depart there at 1000hr to drive down to Geelong.
I have a BBQ trl and will have a sausage sizzle for the day (gold coin donation).
It should finish around 1500hr.
You can bring your own stuff to throw onto the BBQ if you want.
There will be a number of re-enactors in different period uniforms, a scale model club, some militaria and items for sale on the day.
There should be a CCKW, Bren Gun Carrier, British Dingo, WC-51, Command car, Jeeps & trls etc.
You will also be able to have a look through the workshop and see what restorations are in progress.
Hopefully the weather will be good for a bit of a social get to gether.
