Unusual instruction book
These may be common as mud in England, but this is the first time I've seen one here.

At least it's an interesting book, sort of familiar but so different in many other ways such as the electrical system and non-hydraulic brakes!!! The owner had written his name in the book, I looked him up, born in 1914, served in the army here. |

A friend of mine had the 3 tonner version, the WOT6, which I did a lot of work on, they had good points and bad. The 12 volt electrics made starting superb, but as you say, cable and rod brakes with no servo assistance, for a vehicle grossed at 8 tons .... not good. |
Wot8
A challenge for the brave restorer. A WOT8 or 6 ? is sitting in the Narre Warren collection , out the back . It has slowly deteriorated over the years ..maybe too far gone . It has faded ACF logos on the doors ( a six pointed red star with the ACF script ) ..would have been places MIKE ..ACF= Aust. comforts fund .
