Trailer 7 1/2 ton
 

I hope this is the correct forum, as I believe I have seen pictures posted of the trailer.

I have a question which I hope someone can answer.

I note that the rear axles can be linked together on each side, there is an example of one near me on a farm just outside Plymouth, across the water in Cornwall.
If the wishbone arms are linked, surely this prevented independant movement of the suspension.
Was this done for any specific reason, loading/unloading. ??????
