I am interested in your inert piat round, could you please send me more pictures. I have a piat but I don't have any rounds therefore I will ask you a stupid question. What do you mean by no fuse cap cover?

Not visible in the photo, but at the end of the pointy part of the bomb (left in photo) is where the fuse is inserted and held in place with a threaded cover/retaining cap.

I already told the seller that I will take the bomb but if you have a Piat and need a bomb I think I should stand aside and let you take it. I already have a complete bomb but don't have a Piat.... unless you want to sell your Piat :D

What is an original PIAT metal box worth? I may have one kicking around the basement that I use for radio gear.......

Cheers!
Stuart

That round is not exactly the same as it was complete and in original paint which makes a huge difference to collectors. Even so, seems a bit high to me. Regardless, if you want to discuss this more we should take it over to the history and equipment forum.

Happened to come across these tonight as I'm an insomniac it seems. Maybe they are of use to someone connected to this thread
