Neat

Hi Robin

Thanks for sharing that one. Would be interesting if they had a man hour clock running next to the video.

Does give us all something to shot at in our overhauls.

Cheers Phil

Phil,

Yes I agree on the man hour meter running.

Having gone further and further into the various CVR(T) variants we have the one thing that I do have to say is that familiarity is the key to speed.

The first time is an adventure and there after exponentially faster each time.

Such is also the way with anything.

Now that I am doing my own Ferret Mk1, I am so much less fearful of steps like pulling the power pack out seeing as how we have done it before on one in the collection that I support.

Frankly in some ways the bigger they are the easier they are as the pieces are big but with hydraulics it is all so much easier.

Time Lapse Photos Are Useful

HI Robin

I have used time lapse cameras while working on my CMPs now for a couple of years and it amazes me how often I end up going back to look at the disassembly photos to remember the order that things go back in. The other thing I have learned is to photo the rigging to lift heavy parts, amazing how much time it saves to have the center of gravity already figured out.

Cheers Phil

Hi

I think I have attached a photo of our Spartan.
We have owned it for just over 2 years, previous owner imported it from the UK when he came to NZ to live.
