Inside the Front Black out driving light

This is just to show those what it looks like inside the light. For those who have taken one apart no big deal for those who wanted to know and haven't have a look.

So.......
.... how are you going to get it back together....!!!!
Snicker .... |
Snicker you may well try to do but it is already painted and back together...So I guess the same way I got it apart...patience and using wood and brass tools rather than steel as well a press with a huge round socket to fold it down tight. Just like they made them. Do more with less the Canadian Army way!
How would you have taken it apart? ahem... and put it back together? Bob ...? Hehehehehe? |
I have taken them apart.....
....but not as gently. Working on M 37 years ago with a lot of these lamps available we used a grinder..... we had hopes of using 2 of them as driving lights ....... we never intended to put them back together again......
As extra driving lights mounted inside the grill they were nearly useless..... more like a glaring short broad beam.... they were quickly removed and replaced by proper driving lights....amazing how important the lens pattern is to control and direct light on the road. Live and learn. Bob |
