Ford info plates for cab 13
Chaps,
I am looking to buy any/all of the shift & info plates that go on the engine cover of a Ford cab 13 CMP. Original would be fantastic, but reproductions would be fine too. Send me a PM and I will reply ASAP. All help appreciated :salute: |
I think Dirk Leegwater does repro ones (there's not a specific bit on his website but there's a promising picture showing a range of them)
I was pondering getting some for mine but there's no sign of them ever being there, which probably ties in with the reversed transfer box operation. |
Lauren
G'Day Lauren,
I have sent an email to Dirk, and am awaiting reply. There are so many of the jeep plates around, but begger all for CMP. What's wrong with the world? :yappy: T. |
They either have no taste or an irrational desire for vehicles that fit in the garage.

No luck with LWD
Nope, Dirk doesn't have what I am after either!
Search goes on. |

Hi,
I have these on an engine cover here. A little bit weathered, but..... Didn't you also need some of these window hardware pieces? Thanks, David |

G'Day David!

If they are not fit for Tony's purpose, I'd be interested in them for my F15A. Thanks, Hanno |

The windscreen hardware is exactly same as the highly rusted bits that came off my truck. Well actually they fell apart like the dead sea scrolls, when I attempted to remove, but they were like those shown by David, before they crumbled into Tetanus. Attachment 48729 I also have this plate that someone may find desirable to PX/X for Cab 13 F60 transfer/gear plate. |
Correct one
Although this is on a cab 12 dash (or more correctly a Rover armoured car) it illustrates the difference with high/low.

I've got what I think you need. It's got the high and low auxiliary shift pattern. It's not great but it actually looks nicer in real life than the picture shows. The missing bits for each corner are still stuck on the cover as are the other two plates of this set. I don't know what number cab it's from though.

That looks like the plate Tony needs for his F60S. Can I buy them off you? If so, I'll swap them for the set Tony got off David to exchange for the correct one, at some later point in time. Tony? Thanks, Hanno > > Looking for a set of data plates to go on my F15A > |
Ford F60 Info Plates
Hi Greg & Hanno,
Guys, I need to find an info plate that has the corners intact, OR one that has the detail in really good shape, to have some reproduced. Apparently there have been a number of sources that have had these reproduced in the past, but all suitable sources that I am aware of have now dried up. A nearby contact is checking his vehicles for this plate (original), but there is about a 50/50 chance of success, according to his own reckoning. Another guy has some.............somewhere. His problem is same as mine, safe-keeping locations disappear without a trace when you want to make a 'withdrawl'. |
I will have a close look at the other two plates this weekend. If memory serves me they are in really good shape (well they are still attached so the corners are solid). I'll post some pics.
