Using Windows Explorer, first check if it is a maximum of 700 pixels wide and smaller than 100KB (select "details" to see "Size" and "Dimensions"). Use Microsoft Photo Editor (standard software within the Windows suite) to resize the picture if needed.

Sorry for all this silly stuff guys but I had a software corruption problem and am trying to see how to sort it out. Hope the pics are at least of interest, those that make it, and I promise to be more selective in the future.

Problems with Posting Pictures

Dear Bill,

I found that my photos were not getting through at first as they were too large. However by reducing both the actual size of the image and reducing the pixels per inch the photos were accepted.

If you have 'MS Picture It' - then it is quite easy to do.

Click on 'MS Picture It' icon
Select 'Open Picture' via My Computer (for photos you already have on file)
Select where the photo is to come from ie 'My Pictures' or 'My Documents' etc
Select the photo you want
Click on 'Change Page'
Click on 'Change Size'
Reduce the pixels per inch
Then Save (or Save As if you don't want to spoil the existing image quality.

You can then attach the file in the normal way as long as you can remember where you saved it!
