Mk2 Carrier Date Plate offered
Hi, I have a genuine Canadian data plate for Mk2 carrier, anyone want to swap it for a Mk1 data plate?.

Richard, Turns out the plate was actually for a Mk1 carrier, CT54508 carrier No.3 Mk1* found with a full set of top armour in a scrap yard in Canada. Would be nice to find the original vehicle thow.

That is an interesting plate. Can you put up a photo?
Thats a fairly early MkI*. According to Nigels book CT54508 is from a batch of 3400 MkI* Universals, of contract WSL72.2. The thing is the No3 makes it a 95 h.p. motor. Has the plate been re stamped from a "2" to a "3"? |
