You are absoloutly right it "may" be whatever your flavour is. Since the ad was for a MV a vehicle type firex would be expected. Not one for a kitchen.

Aquired from the remains of a 1945 Dodge APT weapons carrier Canadian made Pyrene brass label marked Heavy Vehicle Type.

Aquired from my inlaws kitchen 1930's or 40's Though it could be earlier as the patent is 1915. Canadian made Pyrene brass label.

Aquired from a bunch of army surplus items British military Pyrene painted olive green, decal label, W^D marked with a 1954 date.
