Desert Harley WLC ??
 

Have just bought a 1942 WLC to restore,it has 16 inch original Harley wheels !Says in a parts book I have as optional fit ? Has any one got a photo of a WLC in the desert ? Dont want to put 2 new 18 inch rims and tyres on if what I have is correct ,plus the tyres are like new !!! Pete

I believe that 16 inch rear wheels were indeed desertisation equipment for the WLA. I don't know about the front wheel. I would expect that to be the case for the WLC also though with front and rear wheels interchangeable logically they would use 16 inch front and rear. If you don't want them I'll take them off your hands.
