How Canada got its name....
 

Now I heard recently about how Canada really got its name.

The settlers threw an alphabet's worth of letters in a hat, then drew them out one at a time....

The first letter was 'C'.

The assembled said 'C, eh?'

The second letter drawn was 'N'..

The assembled said 'N, eh?'

The third letter drawn was 'D'.

The assembled said 'D, eh?'

.... and that's how Canada got its name (or so I was reliably told by an American.....!) :devil: :doh:
