M43 CDN Ambulance 1955
Hello all,
Has anyone come across good pictures of what equipment is suppose to be in the back of the M43. |
We have a M43 and it has the original built in hardware in the rear compartment including the rear step and heater if that is any help

Give me a few days. I just spent the afternoon putting some boxes in the rear for temporary storage so once they are relocated I can take the pictures.
All the orginal fixtures remain The pictures will show the extendable supports for two stretchers (one on either side) as well as the floor boxes on which the other two stretchers rest. The boxes run the length of the body and have cushions on which ambulatory patients can sit. Above the stretchers near the roof are two shelves running the length of the body. About 6 inches wide. The machinery in the middle of the roof towards the front is the heater. To see a picture of the exterior of the ambulance go to the website of the Niagara Military Vehicle Association at www.nmvac.org Ed Wand |
Thanks, I will keep an eye out for the interior pictures and will check out he web link. I have seen some good exterior pictures but the interior ones a find rare.
