Carrier rear axle gears.

Hi, I split an axle on one of the carriers today to overhaul it, The axle Crown wheel and worm drive gears are a little rusty, I would like to replace them if anyone wants a trade, not sure if they could be refurbished, but I think they are case hardened. I am talking about BBC4610E and BBC4609E.

Post some pictures of the bad bits. Is it surface rust? (which will come off with a bit of wet and dry, or is there rust holes/pits in the teeth?
The first is o.k. the second is... well :bang:

Hello Kevin,
The ratio of the Canadian Carrier and
the Ford Lynx 1, is the same : 5.83 to 1.
Also the same, drive gears for both:
Crown wheel 35 teeth, Pinion has 6 teeth.

Dirk
