Thanks for putting these photos up. They are terrific and each one tells a human story. It is sad to think that of all the people in the photos that there would not be to many left to tell their stories. I only hope that their families took time to record their tale for posterity. :salute::remember

Great pics, thank you. They truly show how fast aircraft design progressed in so few years. We started the war with Walruses, String-Bags, Strannies, Wimpies, Blennies, and Flying Suitcases and ended the war with Lancs, Spits, and Hallies to name a few.
