235 timing?

Does any one have the spec for the timing of a 235 engine?

I go with TDC. The timing mark should stand out on the flywheel.

If you are asking for information on the early 235 splash feed engine, according to my TM the initial timing is 5 degrees B.U.D.C.

If using a timing light the setting is 'steel ball set in the flywheel to be on the pointer'.

TM 10-1557 1-1/2 ton 4x4 Chevrolet truck built for US Army.

If it's the later engine, I can't help.
