Sorry to have posted so late 2315(Maritmes). and a bit disappointed that I'm alone in starting this thread but I hope everyone had a fun and safe wknd.
The weather locally was/ is pretty crappy with mild, humid temps and rain at times heavy throughout. The fireworks planned for tonight were moved to tomorrow but the forecast isn't that promising either.
It appears the Ottawa area festivities went smoothly and the two Guards that were inspected by the GG looked very sharp.(I thought setting aside the Drill Manual for dramatic effect even worked in its own way, just let's not make a habit of it. eg 'ONE- two three four five- ONE'.

Had a great Dominion Day on this Coast. It was hot, so some vets rode in the frankencarrier rather than march with the Legion colour party. All in all, a long but good day.
