Military flatheads
 

A guy on the HAMB site has some military flathead motors for sale. I'm not sure what the particular setups were used on. He wants $2400 each still coated in Cosmoline.
I guess that shows the military motors paint colour too.

Judging by the center photo, I'd say used motors. Certainly some unusual parts.

There are three or four new or rebuilt motors and some cores.

My concern with the "crated" motors is that it appears that some major items were neglected unless they were opened up.
This includes the fact that the heads, fuel pump port, and intake are uncapped.... Lots of places for all kinds of things to end up in the last 60 odd years.
