Fan like this one - URGENT
5 Attachment(s)
I am in desperate need of a fan for my 1942 Ford Lynx, Canadian Scout Car.
The fan is 19 inches in diameter and mounts onto the crankshaft. (An 18" would do). Thanks Rick. |
Rick,
What makes this fan special: the 19 inch diameter or the length of the hub (the photo is cut-off but it looks like the measuring tape may start at the surface of the fan bade)? I have an O9B-8600 B fan which is also 19" but slightly shorter on the hub length. Also, the Lynx parts books show both 19 and 19.5 diameter fan. ... Brian |
Well everyone, MLU certainly works. Thank you Brian for answering my request and for your emails etc.
A brand new 19" Ford Lynx I (Mk.III) is on its way to Australia for a very cheap price. The freight to OZ was about 5.5 times the amount Brian wanted for the fan. Thanks again to the 323 MLU people who took the time to look at my Wanted Advert. Regards Rick |
Try this guy
Hi Rick
Have a word with the secretary of the WVCG, (RS), he had a new one when I was at his place working on the engine for his Lynx restoration, he could advise where you can get one. :D Cheers Tony :no4: |
Yes Tony, I saw that one but he had no idea where to get another from. As I pointed out in the post above, I have got one on the way from Canada thanks to MLU.

WELL!! Thank you Brian. $25-00 for a brand new old stock Ford Lynx I Mk.III fan. Anazing.
I elected to have it sent by Airmail and Brian posted it from Canada on the 16th October. It arrived today 22nd.October. 6 days from Canadia to OZ. If it was to come from USA it would have taken many weeks, (well most things I have purchased from USA have.) Thanks MLU fraternity, and thanks again Brian. Regards Rick. |
