Sad duty for the frankencarrier
4 Attachment(s)
Funeral procession for Maj. L. Beglaw, RWestmrR. Unfortunately some of the more complete and restored carriers were not available for this sad duty. Very honoured to take part and fulfil one of his last wishes.

Nice way to go. I think I might write that into my will.
Thansk for sharing. Clive |
Beautiful gesture Hans.....
Hans.....nice that you could spare the time and vehicle. I was involved with the first orchestrating of an event like this, with a Fallen Westy in Afghanastan and to this day it still moves me to tears. Good on ya' mate! Robert :salute:

Yeah, I had asked my wife if I went I wanted to go to the ceremony on the engine bay deck of a carrier.... With my fellow brick layers pressed and dressed behind... Better get mine finished just in case ! There are no other carriers close by to me !

On another point Hans......
Not a sad moment...but a PROUD moment! And Richard...as my cousin said ( a Provincial Court Judge in Ontario Canada) Death is the final say, the last "kick at the cat".....so if you have a "will" to leave or an "epitaph" to write .....make it count! Be Remembered! Robert :salute:
