Parts Source
Just spent an hour online going throught the Jim Carter Classic Truck Parts catalog. http://oldchevytrucks.biz well worth taking a look through if you are looking for Chevy parts. Looks like they have added a number of engine parts. Also they have useful information if you are considering up engining to a 235. Know that shipping and exchange rate may make them expensive in some parts of the world but if in real need they might be worth checking.

For the record....
They were the only place that readily had and at a good price a total "rocker arm" assembly for my 261..... seems the little rockers are now very hard to find as they are no longer made.
I had quick delivery.... they searched out and found the proper throw out bearing and had NOS solid lifters in stock. I had them delivered in Ogdensburg just across the border....saves tax...custom.... extra freight charges. I would deal with them again. Thanks Phil..... will you be at Weare again this year??? |
