Corowa 2013 DVD
1 Attachment(s)
It's finally at the duplicators for launching at the 2014 Corowa event, this is the record of the largest annual gathering of former military vehicles in Australia.
The theme was Year of the Trailed Vehicle and Armour and there are plenty of both featured in the video with many interviews and profiles of some rare and unusual vehicles. The cover of the DVD shows Bob Shutt's CMP based Ford SC1, the only drivable example in existence. These were built as reverse lend-lease here in Australia, with a body inspired by the White Scout Car, based on the F15 chassis. Also featured are a FBE semi-trailer towed by a 'barn find' C60S owned by Ian Evans and as it is a swim-in we go for a ride in the mighty Alvis Stalwart and an amphibious Jeep. I will be at Corowa this year shooting the Year of WW1 and Ford vehicles and have also been asked to deliver the talk, and I may even give a preview of that talk soon. For those not travelling to Corowa the DVD may be ordered by sending me a PM. Price is A$35 plus postage. |
Hi Keith,
Looking forward to watching it :thup2: cheers Richard |
Watching
Well, you can watch the opening sequence right now by going here.
I've just uploaded it so it's in the process of having the high res version converted, but you can see the standard definition one straight away. I had an intern "assisting" me for this one, which on the face of things was handy but cased me a lot more time editing! I also have some additional material kindly supplied by Tony Wheeler and Andrew McIntosh plus some stills from Euan McDonald. Also this is the first of the series with an actual speaking part from Sid Holgate! |
A bit of a taster there!

There should be some interesting people to interview this year. Would you be able to get some copies to Ball Park by 10th March?

For those who want to order a copy please send me a PM. It runs almost an hour and has Tim Vibert's talk as an additional feature. You can view the introduction here. |
After arriving home last night we had an opportunity to watch the DVD and I must say it was great to see interviews with participants who had not been interviewed before. Well done Keith.
