Found in South Australia in great condition, however would like to know if she is an army truck and what price people would be willing to pay for her?
Motor turns over and drives fine. If you can provide any info please do. Cheers Shane

Welcome aboard! And sorry to hear you have been bitten by the rusted truck bug.

Be wary of buying everything you see that is offered as "ex Army". In my experience in another collecting realm, that is a recipe for spending money and accumulating junk. (Not that it is a bad thing for some people, but there are limits on my family's patience and the city's tolerance.)

In Canada that sort of vehicle would be used as a utility or local duty vehicle. Not a tactical truck. There are any number of jobs that require supplies or equipment to be moved from one place to another, just that same way any ranch or farmer needs to get fencing, feeding or watering supplies out to the back pastures. The tracks or trails are rough, but not impassible, and there is no military urgency or risk of getting shot at.

The other use might be to train drivers of the more scarce, expensive or otherwise unavailable tactical vehicles.

Shane, That is what we called a CL Inter. The CL trcks were used for general cartage on firm roads. I drove thousands of miles in those Inters and the equivilent Ford Cl's.

Regards Rick
