On the above comes the anniversity of the battle of Kapyong.

This battle was if not the last one where the Australian and Canadian troops took on the Chinese army and gave them a real pasting.

Not specific to Kapyong, but it was the 2nd Bn of the PPCLI that fought there and received the US Presidential Unit Citation.
