shutter glass
Can someone tell me the thickness of the shutter glass and a bit of an idea what they cost to get cut ? Also why was the metal frame to hold the glass made so lightly where they ment to brake off when hit by a bullet .. Dale

triplex plate
Hi Dale,
The triplex plate is 5/16 or 8mm thick. Simon Allen is making repo surrounds if you need any. |
Hi Guys
I have original glass, you just need to pick it up. Kind regards |
I had Windscreens Obrien cut glass to suit my frames, AU$10 ea.
At that price I had 3 spares cut in case they do get shot....more likely kicked. |
Thanks everyone for the info on the glass . Does anyone out there , have three knob plunger assı 687-12 for the shutters that I could buy or lend me one so as to get some made . Dale

O.k I've just about got the shutters sorted out thanks to some MLU Members . One more question I need to machine up the 687-4 collar link large this is the spacer that goes in between inner and outer plates is it a roller or just a fixed spacer also the I need the DIA when I measured the cut outs in the hull i noticed that one of the cut- outs in the armor plate , are not parallel looks like it is narrower then goes into the round part , It looks to me to be around 20mm in DIA to allow it to operate also I also think Lynn mentioned it is the same thickness as the plate . JUST FOUND IT IN THE SPARE PARTS BOOK , SHOULD HAVE LOOKED FIRST 5/8 X 33/64 DALE
