Was anyone here on this exercise?

Does anyone have any pictures?

Thanks

And the silence was deafening . .

Anyone on that exercise?

Well Robin, other than the Prairie wind blowing, winter is pretty quiet in the West ...

If Ed Storey is online, he might have something to add.

Tell us a little about the exercise

Hi Robin

No, information but you have peaked my interest, what was Prarie Snow Exercise all about? Maybe that would shake somebody memories for more information.

Cheers Phil

I do not know the full role of the exercise, but I can tell you that there were trials of both the CVR(T) Scorpion and CVR(W) Fox crewed by both British and Canadian troops on this exercise.

The photo is from that era and an officer and I are talking about documenting his experience at the time and what he was subsequently involved with on the program.

At least that is what I am led to understand at this time.

I am getting recollections and anecdotes from around the globe from many sources all which have to be laboriously back checked before I can dare go to print.

Robin
