First Responder Day, Ontario, May 1st
 

For those outside the emergency service you might be forgiven for not knowing that the Province declared today one of celebration and recognition of our First Responders in our communities. This recognises paid and volunteers alike, EMS, Police, Fire, Red Cross, Military.

Many here have day jobs but are also volunteers with organization as I am with Howe Island Fire and Rescue.

Today we did a roadside flyer campaign aimed at the commuters leaving the Island by the County Ferry.

For some silly reason the pictures are upside down, im trying to rectify that
