and....what is this one?

This was found in a box of old military parts... no idea what it might be
it has a small brass scale on it... a little light which must indicate some action or position,
the protruding portions of the "pin" are knurled and the pin itself is flattened in the middle
and looks like there was a C or D cell type battery in it !!!

its very solidly built, and heavy (!) about 8 inches roughly top to bottom

any ideas?

A crime is what it is!!!
The elusive Ford flathead timing fixture used on distributors for every Ford CMP, carrier etc. Made by Wasco.
I am lucky enough to have 2 NOS ones in my collection, recently aquired after many years searching.
If you want to part with it Marc let me know.

Marc Montgomery 03-05-14 00:31

well that was fast ! sure I'll part with it...surplus to needs

.....

I'd be whining if I didn't have one already.

Lynn Eades 03-05-14 14:41

Marc, it will clean up to be a nice useful timing tool.

Marc Montgomery 14-05-14 01:55

actualy i noticed there were still vestiges of the original decal.
Anyone interested, I cant see that I will ever need it.. I can deliver to Kingston, Picton next weekend.

BTW still have some NOS 1/4t trailer covers.

Marc Montgomery 20-07-14 14:19

Can deliver, this item, or NOS 1/4 t trailer covers, or the v/g condition 750kg SMP Cdn1 trailer ...to Gan this coming week if interested

Let the masses speak - till I won't listen. Someone I know must be going to Gannonoque. Or another plan.

If memory serves, I purchased 2 NOS ones last year for $150 each

Marc Montgomery 22-07-14 02:04

Thanks Chris .Well, given the condition of mine, I think we can safely say, the price would be substantially (!) less..
The question would be how to get it to London.. what are bus parcel prices like?
As mentioned Ill be travelling through Hamilton in early Aug.
Or if someone knows a buddy in Niagara Falls, it could be left there for later pickup

Marc Montgomery 02-08-14 12:57

Charlie, and others, I will bring this item, along with a few other bits and bobs to the Odessa (Ont) bivouc. including repros of wartime posters, NOS trailer covers (only a couple left @100$, a couple of the brass fire extinguishers and some other small items.
