CMP 60cwt Spare Tire Carrier
 

Hello Everyone.

I am looking for an original spare tire carrier for a 1944 C60L or parts thereof. Enclosed below is a picture of the style I am looking for (this tire carrier was for sale on the MLU in Europe a while ago). If none are available dimensions / photos would be greatly appreciated. I do know of a truck with the base of the carrier but am unsure if the owner will sell it. Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't find a CMP one, the spare tire bracket from the old deuce dump truck (M216 I believe) is kind of close.

Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely correct. The spare tire carrier from a duece and a half (dump truck) is close. I do have one so my alternative is to fabricate one using half of the duece "clam shell." The rest should be reasonable to make.
