Thanks for the kind words guys, I need a rest now! I don't plan on starting anything too soon, but I suppose it will be the Cromwell next.

Thats an amazing sherman you have restored there.
How long did it take you?

It took about 4000 hours........... 8 years of gathering parts and about 5 years actual work.

The first event we attended, three Sherman veterans had a good look all over it. Brought back many memories for them, very moving.
That alone made it all worthwhile.

That is a lot of work you have put in your Sherman. And seeing the veterans approve of your work is always rewarding
