Sherman restoration
Hi guys,
My Sherman is now finished so I thought you may like to see some pics. Check out http://www.geocities.com/sherman_sn5271/ Thanks to Hanno for this. Adrian |
Been following your resto, what an outstanding job! What I always appreciate about these relics is the commitment required to achieve such results and the satisfaction it brings; to see something "old" and "worn out" transferred back into something great. Bravo!

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for the kind words guys, I need a rest now! I don't plan on starting anything too soon, but I suppose it will be the Cromwell next.

Thats an amazing sherman you have restored there.
How long did it take you? |

The first event we attended, three Sherman veterans had a good look all over it. Brought back many memories for them, very moving. That alone made it all worthwhile. :salute: |
That is a lot of work you have put in your Sherman. And seeing the veterans approve of your work is always rewarding
