CMP 235 Series 2 engine pushrods
Hi all,
One of the guys over here is trying to find pushrods for his CMP 235 1954 series 2 engine. He needs three of them and I'm told they are a little hard to find. They are a different length to the earlier engine. The pushrods he needs are 10 ¾” length overall. Apparently the earlier pushrods are 10 5/8”. Can anyone assist with supplying these or give me the part numbers so I can widen the search for him? |
Check out hotrod V8
Hi
Look around for an engine shop that works on push rod V8s they should have a source for tube lifters that can be cut too length. This what I used on my 261 did manage to bend one when a valve guide stuck, but was able to get a single replacement. http://canadianmilitarypattern.com/EnginePage.html Cheers Phil |
Wanted: CMP 235 Series 2 engine pushrods
Thanks Phil. I will mention that to him.
I don't suppose anyone has a part number for this pushrod do they? I asked Dirk Leegwater as well and he just needs a part number to check his stock. |
