First CMP Drive of 2015

Hi

Happy New Years and my best wishes to you all in the coming year.

My personal New Years Day tradition has been to take one of the CMPs out for a drive on New Years Day. This year the honor went to BEAST my HUP, it has been sitting in cold storage for the last 3 weeks so part of the fun is will the 6 volt system start the engine. Pardon the dark start the GoPro Camera just could not pick up much in the garage and it was too cold for the florescent light to work 20F. The clip starts before I turned on the ignition.

That's wonderful Phil, I watched the cab 12 one too - weird to Aussies to see a RHD vehicle on the 'wrong' side of the road. Keep them coming!

Interesting too to think how cold it is there and how hot it will be today here, 40C or 104F.

Cool drive

Welcome to MLU Terry, Happy New Year to you too.

It's too hot to work on vehicles here today, painting the house this morning until it got too hot, might see if I can do some CMP electrical work instead if I can find a cool place.

Hi Guys

I just thought I would share todays weather with you all, The temperature here at home at Strathalbyn in the Adelaide Hills today is 44 degrees with strong northerly winds and a complete fire ban for the state, Just the right sort of conditions to wake up all the fire bugs. It is on a day like this that make me wonder why my parents immigrated from Holland and then as the temperature drops a few degrees I am pleased they did. Although watching Phil driving his HUP on new years day all rugged up I would loved to have been sitting next to him. :cheers:
