Hi Mike,
I can't believe how long it has taken them to identify that engine, it is a 27hp Bedford from the old W type, pre-1939 or thereabouts. The talk of Hunts being a car dealer is way off, R J Hunt was a foundry in UK, come across there name at times on old machines.
An interesting forum, I take a look occasionally.
