Finally managed to get up north and pick up my second LAAT and also a lovely Canadian made 25pdr limber for a near neighbour. We also manged to pick up a set of tyres for a Chevrolet gun tractor and another set for my HUP. Altogether a good couple of days work.

Jolly good work
Khaki with envy James....
Punishment for such exceptional finds is for the offender to post lots and lots of pictures... Hope youre keeping well  |
Hi Tony
Not doing too bad here, how about you? I will start unloading Monday, then the fun will start !!! ....and the pictures. All the best James  |
Wow, James what a collection you are getting. Please to not ignore either Sally Ann though. :D
Cheers, Barry |
Another good load James.
Neil is going to have fun reversing that limber :rolleyes |
Hi Barry,
You don't have to worry about Sally Anne, She went to Normandy last year and has just had a tune up ready for Guernsey's 70th liberation celebrations in May. And John, if you're going to go all that way make sure you come back loaded! In Weatherby we were pushing tyres under the LAAT, stacking them on the limber. We used up every strap I have. Can't wait till Monday for the big unload ! James |
Looks good, looking forward to more pictures, you are going to need more room!
Are you picking up something in March or having a month off? What is in the white wrapping under the LAAT? |
The engine and gearbox are under the sheet, tucked below the body and as for March, you will just have to wait and see !!!!! :thup2:

As requested some more pictures:
The F60 tucked up in the workshop. Some of the parts unloaded and the rest still to come. James |
That will keep you busy over the next few months ;)
Looks like an interesting handbrake lever in photo 5? Almost like the one I've put on the Chev :D |
Yes, Just done another hour unloading and still not finished.
Just found the 2 brake bands in a box, one for the handbrake the other for the winch. Its not surprising that the loader dipped as the LAAT came off, breathed a great sigh of relief !!!! |

James,
What ho, you keep hauling them CMPs in like a fisherman in the salmon season :thup2: Looks like the ex-Rob Nixon F60S LAAT, I know of one or two of his other former restoration projects for sale here in Holland. Hanno Attachment 71180 Attachment 71179 |
Hi Hanno,
Yes it is Rob's old LAAT. It will end up a lovely truck. Must get back to the fishing, before the season ends !!! :salute: James |

Does 1 x White = 4 x CMPS? |
Certainly not 'catch and return', more like 'catch and hide'!
Seasons open for a while longer, I still have the HUP to bring back. |

Hanno, for many years, Sally just saw the loaders come and go. Sometimes with a rusty hulk on top sometimes not and never paid any attention. Then she came on a few trips and started to enjoy the hobby. Next thing she says 'why don't you sell off the vehicles that aren't Canadian and concentrate on the CMPs !!!
Well if that's not a green light................. |
