How different are Canadian 5/4 from US

Not knowing anything about 5/4 vehicles I'll ask do they share any parts with US MVs also what parts are you looking for?

One of the reasons I'm asking is one of our club member's is as he describes it having a "30 year crap clearance" several large containers of MV parts including CUCV parts. Ron the collector who is selling the stuff has Canadian roots, so I'm sure if he can help buy looking for particular parts he will.

Hi Phil, we are using a CUCV for the base of the project, and will also base a Rad van on the CUCV , Canada had approx. 800 CUCV's, we will be looking for any CF items used in these trucks , most of the 76 5/4 trucks were borderline scrap when they were released and very few have survived the last 20 years in the civy world, we are just restoring a 76 at the Ontr Museum and almost all the sheet metal is scrap and the trucks would put you in the poor house due to fuel consumption ,we have the line superstructure that fits in the bed of the truck but are missing specific items , mount for the reels , poles, spare tire mount, for the rad van we will need external items for the Pod, take a look on Steel Soldiers under Canadian CUCV, any help would be great , as for parts and maint. books we are good,
