Drain Bung
The LP2A's over here in NZ has a brass one at the back on a piece of number 8 wire!
I thought it did not rain in Aus! |
Rains a far bit on the east coast Andrew . I did see in a photo of Euan's carrier showing a drain plug down the rear end on a wire pull up handle . His carrier is a lot later then my machine .. Dale

You plan on driving in the rain, or worse yet - leaving it out in the rain. Surely you speak blasphemy!!!
Dale, my hull doesn't feature anything for drainage as well.... although I don't anticipate it being a huge problem either. |
It does rain a bit in NZ...
Early LP2 (NZ) has a drain in the front left corner of the hull, by the gunners left foot. It is about 4" dia plate bolted to a tapping ring welded to the hull, with a smaller diameter open hole.
My guess is that the small hole let the rain water out, and you would remove the plate to wash debris out of the hull. Rob |
